Bonnie Mellen

Mellen-Image.jpegBonnie arrived to PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake after sustaining a right ankle fracture as the result of a fall. Living alone in a single story home, Bonnie had specific goals of returning home and performing all mobility activities of daily living with independence. Upon her admission to PAM of Clear Lake she was extremely limited with basic self-care tasks.

Bonnie had participated in daily occupational and physical therapy, and was able to progress a tremendous amount. After only 11 days of therapy, she began feeling comfortable in her abilities. When she was asked about her experience at PAM she stated, “Absolutely wonderful! The therapy gave me piece of mind that I’m not alone. I’ve made a whole new family.” Bonnie was able to be discharged to her home and is modified independent with mobility and ADL’s. We are so proud of the progress she made at PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake.
