Mr. Larry Puma

larry.jpgMr. Puma arrived at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Hammond following a previous hospital stay for sepsis, pneumonia, and acute respiratory failure.

These medical conditions also required Mr. Puma to be placed on the ventilator. After 77 days of being on the ventilator and being unable to talk, Mr. Puma is now on a track collar and able to speak using a Passy-Muir valve.

He dedicates his accomplishments to the support of his loving wife and two daughters, various other family members and friends, great faith, and all the staff at the hospital.

“Post Acute Specialty Hospital has been one of the best experiences of my life. Their staff was so friendly and helpful and brought me from near death back to life. I give them a rating of fantastic! They care about their patients and will go that extra mile with a smile.”
